    hmm...be careful abt. the phone that you buy here that you want to use in india..because some companies..such as tmobile require you to wait one month or two months after activation in order for them to give you the international lock so it works in other companies..the best thing to do is to buy the mobile in india (you will get a great brand new hi-fi cutting edge model) plus you will know for sure that it will work in india AND the US. Only US phones have these special international locks...if you buy a phone from Europe or Asia..they don't have it..hence they work everywhere in the world. I learned a lot from my 45 minute conversation with a T-Mobile manager. :mrgreen:
